Wineloya x Meta: Empowering Ghanaian SMBs Through Digital Growth

At Wineloya, we’ve always believed in the power of digital tools to unlock potential. That’s why we’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve partnered with Meta to roll out the Boost with Facebook program here in Ghana. This initiative is designed to support over 5,000 micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to thrive in the digital economy — and we’re thrilled to be leading this locally.

Why This Matters

Small businesses are the heartbeat of Ghana’s economy. From tailors in Tamale to food vendors in Kasoa, these businesses fuel local economies and support countless families. But many of them still face a gap when it comes to understanding and using digital tools — especially after COVID-19 shook traditional ways of doing business.

That’s where Boost with Facebook comes in. It’s more than just training. It’s about giving entrepreneurs the confidence and practical knowledge to grow their businesses online. We’ve seen firsthand how digital marketing can transform a small operation into a thriving brand — and we want that for every Ghanaian business owner.

“For us at Wineloya, this isn’t just a partnership — it’s a movement. Helping local businesses find their voice online and reach new customers is at the core of what we do,” says Simon Wineloya Alangde, Partner at Wineloya.

What to Expect

Together with Meta, we’re offering a series of free, live training sessions. These 90-minute webinars are packed with real-life, actionable tips to help business owners:

  • Build and manage a digital presence on Facebook and Instagram

  • Understand their audience and how to reach them

  • Create content that truly connects

  • And ultimately, turn clicks into customers

Since 2017, Meta’s program has trained over 200,000 small businesses across Africa. The Ghana rollout, which was announced on November 29, 2021, marks a major milestone — and we’re excited to be leading the charge.

Our Commitment

We’re not just here to train and leave. We’re building a community. After each session, participants will have access to follow-up support, resources, and peer learning groups. This is about long-term impact, not quick wins.

At Wineloya, we know that when Ghanaian businesses win, we all win.

Whether you’re running a beauty shop, launching a clothing brand, or selling agro-products, this program is for you. Let’s take your hustle online — and to the next level.
